Frequently Asked Questions

Which cartridge does the Oki MB451 use?

The MB451 uses the Oki 44992405 toner cartridge, a single black cartridge for this monochrome MFP. No other cartridge number is listed for this model.

My MB451 prints are streaky. Should I replace the 44992405?

First check whether the cartridge is low. If it still has toner, the drum may be causing the streaks. Toner and drum are separate parts, so replace only the one at fault.

Does the MB451 use toner when receiving faxes?

Only when it prints them. Faxes stored in memory or forwarded digitally use no toner. If your machine auto-prints every incoming fax, that is what drains the cartridge.
