Frequently Asked Questions

Why do reds and skin tones look wrong when the magenta cartridge gets low?

Magenta is the foundation of every red, pink and warm tone the printer makes. As the 44315302 runs down, reds drift orange, photographs take on a cold green cast and skin tones look waxy — often while blues and yellows still look perfectly fine. That one-sided color shift is the classic signature of a fading magenta cartridge.

Which Type C15 number is magenta, and what are the others?

Magenta is 44315302. Its family members are 44315303 in cyan and 44315301 in yellow, and the black cartridge for the same printers is listed separately. Keeping the three color codes straight matters when you reorder, because the cartridges are physically keyed by color and a wrong-color cartridge will not seat.

Which printers take this magenta cartridge?

The 44315302 is built for the Oki C610cdn, Oki C610dn and Oki C610dtn. Those three share the full Type C15 set, so if your office runs a mix of them, the same magenta spare serves all three machines.

What does the page yield work out to in cost terms?

The cartridge is rated at up to 6,000 pages and priced at $40.55, which is roughly 0.68 cents per page for magenta. For a color that carries logos, photos and presentation graphics, staying under a cent a page is the main economic argument for a compatible cartridge over the original.

Do all three colors run out at the same time?

Almost never. Consumption follows your documents: an office printing red-heavy branding will drain magenta first, while photo work may empty yellow sooner. The C610 design lets each color be replaced on its own schedule, so there is no reason to retire a half-full cartridge just because its neighbor is done.

How am I protected if this cartridge disappoints?

It comes with a one-year warranty and one year of free returns, set out in our shipping & returns policy. We ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and our support team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST for installation questions or returns.
