Frequently Asked Questions

What should I make of the "Premium Quality" label on this C6150 set?

Take it at face value, with one honest footnote: this Premium listing costs $145.50, exactly what our standard C6150 set costs, and both carry the same published ratings. We will not dress up a difference the figures do not support. Inside the box is the same four-cartridge family — 43865717, 43865718, 43865719 and 43865720 — so the Premium word in the name adds nothing to the price you pay.

What is inside the box?

Four cartridges: one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow, corresponding collectively to the 43865717 / 43865718 / 43865719 / 43865720 part numbers. Each is individually sealed, so you can install them one at a time as the corresponding slot in your C6150 runs out.

How far do the ratings stretch?

The black cartridge is rated at up to 8,000 pages; each color cartridge is rated at up to 6,000 pages. Ratings come from the standard measurement on light, even coverage — a fair guide for mixed office printing, with the understanding that heavy color coverage draws the cyan, magenta and yellow down sooner.

Which models does the set serve?

Beyond the C6150 itself, the 43865717, 43865718, 43865719 and 43865720 family is listed for the C6150DN, C6150DTN, C6150HDN and C6150N, and for the C5850, C5850DN and C5850N. Matching the numbers on your old cartridges against those four remains the most dependable confirmation.

Am I paying extra for the Premium listing?

No — $145.50 is the price of both the Premium and the standard C6150 set, which works out to about $36.38 per cartridge across the four. Whichever listing you choose, the ratings and the total are the same; the choice is simply a matter of which page you order from.

Who stands behind the set if a color disappoints?

We do. These Clever Supplies compatible cartridges carry a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns under our shipping & returns policy, with support available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Orders ship from the closest of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses.

About This C6150 Premium Four-Color Set

For the C6150, the Premium page and the standard page describe the same purchase: four compatible cartridges from the 43865717, 43865718, 43865719 and 43865720 family at $145.50, the black with an 8,000-page rating and the colors with 6,000 pages apiece. A year of warranty cover and a year of free returns apply either way, parcels are dispatched from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — the nearest warehouse handles it — and the remainder of the catalogue lives on our Okidata page.
