Frequently Asked Questions

How much printing does one of these 5-packs actually hold for a B720DN?

Each of the five black cartridges is rated at 15,000 pages, so the box carries 75,000 pages of rated capacity in total. They are all the same Okidata 52123601 cartridge — you install one, and the other four wait as spares until the printer asks for the next.

What does the 5-pack do to my per-cartridge price?

Bought one at a time, this cartridge lists at $93.04. In the 5-pack at $391.20, the average drops to $78.24 per cartridge — $74.00 less than five singles at $465.20. That works out to roughly 0.52 cents per rated page instead of about 0.62 cents buying singly.

Is this the same cartridge my B720DN already uses?

Yes — the 52123601 is the cartridge this listing is built around, and the same one serves the B710dn, B710n, B720dn, B720n and B730dn. Nothing changes about how it installs; the 5-pack is simply five of them in one order.

Who is a 5-pack the right buy for?

Offices where the B720DN runs every day and a toner outage stops work. If your printer sits idle most weeks, a single cartridge is the more sensible spend — five cartridges is stock for a machine that genuinely goes through them.

How should I store the four spare cartridges?

Keep them sealed in their packaging, flat, in a dry room away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Stored that way, a spare is ready whenever the installed cartridge runs out — swap it in and keep printing the same day.

What protection comes with this compatible 5-pack?

These are compatible cartridges, not Okidata originals, and they are covered by a 1-year warranty plus 1-year free returns — see the shipping & returns page for the details. Support is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.
