Completely normal for office use - text documents consume black steadily while colors are barely touched. That is exactly why black comes in the high-capacity A0DK132 (about 8,000 pages): it balances out the faster depletion.
Does the 4695MF warn before an A0DK cartridge runs completely dry?
Yes - it shows a low-toner warning well before the cartridge is empty, then a replace-toner message when printing must stop. Do not ignore the first warning on a shared machine; order the replacement code it names immediately.
The 4695MF's color prints look fine but black text is faint - which cartridge do I replace?
The black cartridge - A0DK131 standard or A0DK132 high-capacity, whichever is installed. Faint text with good color output isolates the problem to black, so there is no need to touch the color cartridges.
