Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly ships in this box?

Four cartridges, one per slot in the CP4525: CE260A for black, CE261A cyan, CE262A yellow and CE263A magenta. Each arrives sealed and ready to drop in, and together they cover every color the printer can ask for.

Our CP4525 mostly prints long color reports. How far does a set go?

The black is rated at 8,500 pages and each color at 11,000 pages. Long report runs lean on all four positions at once — charts and covers pull the colors while body text pulls black — so a full set keeps the balance even instead of one position dying in the middle of a board pack.

Do all four have to go in on the same day?

No. Each cartridge is independent and sealed, so the set can be split: fit the color that has actually run out and shelf the rest. Plenty of offices buy the set for the price and treat it as pre-positioned stock for the one printer.

What does the full set cost?

$193.49 covers all four positions in a single order — one delivery, one invoice, and no second order when the next color warning appears a week later.

Why does one color always seem to fade first?

Coverage is never even. A house style heavy on blue graphics drains cyan early, while text-led work empties black first. The ratings assume a standard page; your mix decides the real order, which is exactly why the set approach beats chasing singles.

What cover comes with the set?

Every cartridge carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns. If one arrives faulty, support is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST and the rest of the set keeps the printer running while it is sorted.

About This CE260A–CE263A Set for the CP4525

The Color LaserJet CP4525dn page covers the networked sibling of this printer; the plain CP4525 at the end of the print room runs the same four positions — CE260A black at 8,500 pages and the three colors at 11,000 pages each. It is a heavy, fast A4 color machine, and a complete set on the shelf is the simplest way to keep it that way.

Orders leave from whichever of our warehouses — IL, PA, GA or CA — is closest to you; delivery and returns detail lives on the shipping & returns page, and the wider HP catalogue covers the rest of the fleet.
