Frequently Asked Questions

What is the real risk in buying this Premium Quality set, and what covers it?

The honest risk with any compatible cartridge is a unit that fades early or prints unevenly. What covers it here is concrete: a 1-year warranty on every cartridge and 1-year free returns if one does not perform. The set itself is the same four cartridges sold under the standard 2135cn listing — black 330-1436, cyan 330-1437, magenta 330-1433, yellow 330-1438, each rated at 2,500 pages — at the same $53.77 price. "Premium Quality" in the title adds no specification; the warranty is the part of this listing that actually protects you.

If we keep this set as a spare, how should it be stored?

Sealed, flat and boring: leave the cartridges in their packaging, out of direct sunlight, at ordinary room temperature, away from radiators and damp. Stored that way, a spare set waits patiently until the installed one runs down — which is the entire point of holding a spare for a shared 2135cn, since a networked machine never picks a convenient moment to run dry.

What does the set contain?

Four compatible high-yield cartridges, one per slot of the Dell Color Laser 2135cn: the 330-1436 black, the 330-1437 cyan, the 330-1433 magenta and the 330-1438 yellow. Each is rated at 2,500 pages at the standard 5% coverage. At $53.77 the set works out to about $13.44 per cartridge — roughly half a cent per rated page per slot.

How do the returns actually work if a cartridge disappoints?

Contact us and send the cartridge back under the 1-year free returns cover; the full process and terms are set out on our shipping and returns page. Support is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and will first help you rule out a fitting or settings issue — a surprising share of "bad cartridge" reports turn out to be a cartridge seated a few millimetres short.

Does one weak color mean the whole set is bad?

No. Color faults are slot-specific: weak blues trace to the cyan 330-1437, poor reds to the magenta 330-1433, muddy greens to the yellow 330-1438 working with cyan. Replace or return the offending slot under warranty rather than condemning all four — though if the set went in together, check the gauges on the others, because cartridges of the same age tend to finish in the same season.

Where will our set be shipped from?

Whichever of our four US warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — serves your address fastest. The remaining listings for this printer family, including the standard version of this same set, are on our Dell toner page.
