Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a multipack? The name reads like one.

It is not. Despite the plural phrasing in its title, this listing is for one 106R02759 black cartridge — up to 2,000 pages, $25.48 — presented under the WorkCentre 6027's name. Multi-cartridge versions of the same item exist as their own listings; this is the single, and the price is for the single.

Does copying use this cartridge the same way printing does?

Copying and printing draw on it equally — both put toner on paper. Scanning does not: a page scanned to email or a folder never touches the toner supply. So on a multifunction like the 6027, your black consumption follows your paper output, not your scanning, and mono copies come out of this same cartridge as prints do.

How long does 2,000 pages last in a multifunction's mixed workload?

Mixed use still means mostly black: received faxes, copied forms, printed letters and statements are monochrome work. At a combined few hundred pages a month, one cartridge typically serves for several months; the rating is set at light coverage, so dense originals copied often will shorten that span somewhat.

Why keep a spare specifically for an all-in-one machine?

Because when a multifunction stops, several jobs stop with it — the office loses its printer, its copier and its fax output in one stroke. A $25.48 cartridge on the shelf is cheap insurance against that particular bad morning, and the swap itself takes minutes.

Which machines take this cartridge?

Two, and they share it completely: the WorkCentre 6027 that this listing is named for, and the Phaser 6022 printer. Buy one spare and it stands ready for either machine.

What stands behind the cartridge if it misbehaves?

A one-year warranty and free returns for a year, explained on the shipping and returns page. We dispatch from IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and the rest of what we stock for the platform is collected on the Xerox toner page.
