Frequently Asked Questions

Does scanning on the WorkCentre 6027 use up this cyan cartridge?

No. Scanning only reads the page; it puts no toner down at all. Copying is the function that drinks from the 106R02756, because every colour copy is printed fresh. An office that scans heavily but copies lightly will find this cartridge lasts far longer than the page counter alone might suggest.

Copies look washed out but prints from the computer look fine — is the cartridge at fault?

Probably not. If computer prints still show strong blues and greens, the cyan supply is doing its job and the problem sits with the copy path — a dirty scanner glass or a copy quality setting turned down. Run a colour print first: if that is pale too, then the cartridge is the suspect; if only copies suffer, clean the glass before spending money on toner.

The listing title says "Cartridges" plural — what am I actually buying?

A single cartridge. The plural wording is a catalogue habit across these listings, but the box holds one 106R02756 cyan cartridge at $25.22, rated at up to 1,000 pages. That is the complete purchase — no bundle, no second colour hidden in the price.

Can I check the cyan level without standing at the machine?

Yes. The WorkCentre 6027 reports its supplies through its built-in web interface, so anyone on the office network can read the estimated cyan level from a browser before ordering. Pair that estimate with what the prints actually look like — the gauge is a forecast, and fading blues are the ground truth.

Which printers take this cartridge?

This listing is written for the WorkCentre 6027, and the identical 106R02756 supply is also used by the Phaser 6022. One spare on the shelf covers both machines.

What cover do I get once it is installed?

The cartridge is backed by a 1-year warranty and a full year of free returns, set out on our shipping and returns page. Stock ships from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, and help is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
