Frequently Asked Questions

The title says "Toner Cartridges" — how many are actually in the box?

One. The plural in the title is catalogue wording carried across the 6022 listings; what arrives is a single cyan cartridge, the 106R02756, priced at $25.22 and rated at up to 1,000 pages. If your printer is only calling for cyan, one cartridge is the whole job — the other colours are separate supplies with their own part numbers.

What changes on the page when the cyan in a Phaser 6022 starts to give out?

The cool half of the colour wheel goes first. Blue headings lose their depth, skies in photos turn flat and greyish, and greens slide toward yellow because green is built from cyan and yellow together. Prints also take on a warm, slightly reddish cast overall, as magenta is no longer balanced by its partner colour.

How long should 1,000 pages last a small office?

It depends entirely on how much colour the office prints. The 106R02756 rating of up to 1,000 pages assumes light 5% coverage per page, and at $25.22 that is roughly 2.52 cents a page. A desk that prints a handful of colour documents a day can stretch one cartridge across months; a run of full-colour flyers can use it in a fraction of that time.

The low-toner warning is on, but prints still look fine — must I swap it now?

Not necessarily. The warning is an estimate, not a hard stop, and there is usually useful life left after it appears. Judge by the output: while blues and greens still print true, keep going, but have the replacement on the shelf. When the cyan patch on a test page turns pale or streaky, that is the honest signal to change it.

Does this same cartridge work in anything besides the Phaser 6022?

Yes — the same 106R02756 also feeds the WorkCentre 6027, while this listing is written for the Phaser 6022. The two machines share this cyan supply, which keeps spare-stocking simple in a mixed office.

What if the cartridge disappoints or fails early?

It carries a 1-year warranty, and returns stay free for a full year — the policy details sit on our shipping and returns page. Parcels leave from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, whichever is closest to you, and the support desk answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
