Frequently Asked Questions

A networked 7800 serves the whole office — how does that change toner buying?

Nobody owns a shared printer, so nobody watches its gauges. A networked Phaser 7800 tends to be discovered empty at the worst moment, mid-way through someone else's urgent job. A complete four-cartridge set in the cupboard turns that discovery into a two-minute fix instead of a stalled queue and a rush order.

What arrives in the box?

The full load for the machine: black 106R01569, cyan 106R01566, magenta 106R01567 and yellow 106R01568, one high-yield cartridge for each position. Whichever color the panel flags next, its replacement is already on site.

How long should a set last on a shared machine?

Each black 106R01569 is rated up to 24,000 pages and each color — cyan 106R01566, magenta 106R01567, yellow 106R01568 — up to 17,000 pages, measured at 5% coverage. Shared machines print a mixed diet of memos and color decks, so real life lands somewhere between the memo rate and the graphics rate; the gauges, not the calendar, give the true answer.

Can staff check levels without walking to the printer?

Yes — a networked model reports its toner levels through its web interface and the print driver, so whoever orders supplies can check all four colors from their desk and reorder before a position is critical.

Does it matter who fits the cartridges?

Not at all. The change is a front-access, tool-free swap that any member of staff can complete from the on-screen prompts. There is no configuration step afterward; the machine reads the new cartridge and carries on with the queue.

What are the warranty and delivery terms?

The set is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, spelled out on our shipping and returns page. It ships from the nearest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and our support team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
