Frequently Asked Questions

Why does a fully configured 7760YDX get through toner on a schedule you can plan around?

The YDX build is the long-run version of the platform — big paper capacity and finishing options mean jobs run for hours without attention, and toner consumption follows the page count rather than surprises. That steadiness cuts both ways: the machine will not sip toner, but its appetite is predictable, so a complete set on the shelf lines up neatly with the way the printer actually works.

What cartridges does the set contain?

The four high-yield cartridges this platform uses: black is the 106R01163, rated at up to 32,000 pages; cyan is the 106R01160, magenta the 106R01161 and yellow the 106R01162, each rated at up to 25,000 pages. One of each, covering all four positions.

Do the extra trays and finishing hardware change which toner fits?

No. The hardware that makes a YDX a YDX lives in the paper path — trays, duplexing and finishing. The toner load is the standard one for the whole 7760 family, so this set fits the flagship configuration exactly as it fits the base machine.

What happens if a color empties in the middle of a long run?

The job pauses at the flagged position and waits for that one cartridge to be changed; the other three stay in place with their toner untouched. Because the swap is quick, keeping the set within reach of the printer is what keeps a long run long — the finishing line only stops for as long as the shelf is empty.

Which models is this set made for?

First and foremost the Phaser 7760YDX named in the listing, and equally the rest of the family: Phaser 7760, Phaser 7760DN and Phaser 7760DX, along with the GX and YGX builds. One toner fitting serves every configuration.

What warranty and delivery come with the set?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns cover the set, with details on our shipping and returns page. We send orders from the closest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
