Frequently Asked Questions

Why does this set hold five cartridges when the printer only has four slots?

Because the fifth one is your shelf spare. The box covers the full set of four part numbers — black 106R01334, cyan 106R01331, magenta 106R01332 and yellow 106R01333 — plus one extra cartridge, so the next time a single color gives out mid-job you are reaching into a drawer instead of waiting on a delivery.

Which colors are in the box?

All four the Phaser 6125 uses: the 106R01334 black, 106R01331 cyan, 106R01332 magenta and 106R01333 yellow. The spare is one of those same four part numbers, so whichever color your printer leans on hardest, the backup strategy is the same — install from the shelf and reorder when the shelf is empty.

How do I get the most out of the spare?

Keep it sealed, stored flat and out of direct sunlight, and treat its use as your reorder signal. The day the spare goes into the printer is the day the shelf is bare; ordering the next set then, rather than when the following warning appears, keeps a buffer between you and an empty slot every time.

Will these cartridges fit my 6125N as well?

Yes. The networked 6125N uses the identical four part numbers as the base 6125, so this five-piece set serves either model. If you run both machines in one office, a single set can cover the full change on one printer and leave the spare floating for whichever calls first.

What page counts should I plan around?

Each black 106R01334 is rated near 2,000 pages and each color near 1,000 pages at 5% coverage. Real results move with what you print: text-heavy work leans on the black, while charts, logos and photos draw the colors down faster.

What protection comes with the set?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns cover every cartridge in the box, spare included. Shipping runs out of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, with the details collected on our shipping and returns page. Questions are answered Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM CST.

About This Phaser 6125 5 Color Set

This $53.28 set pairs the complete 6125 refill — 106R01334 black at about 2,000 pages, and the 106R01331 cyan, 106R01332 magenta and 106R01333 yellow at about 1,000 pages each — with one spare cartridge from the same four part numbers. It fits owners who have been caught once by a color running dry at the wrong moment and would rather hold the buffer themselves. More pack sizes and the individual cartridges are listed on our Xerox toner page.
