Frequently Asked Questions

Why renew the whole toner station at once instead of topping up bay by bay?

Because these four cartridges work as one system. Black lays down the text and line work, while cyan, magenta and yellow blend into every image, chart and logo. When the bays are at very different ages, the fresh cartridge prints at full strength next to tired partners and colours start to drift. Replacing all four slots together puts the entire station back to day-one balance — documents, graphics and photos come off the same printer looking the way they did when it was new, and you are not placing a fresh emergency order every few weeks as the next bay gives out.

The ratings in this set are not all the same — how do the yields break down?

They differ on purpose, because black does different work from the colours. The black cartridge, 106R02759, is rated at 2,000 pages. Each colour cartridge — cyan 106R02756, magenta 106R02757 and yellow 106R02758 — is rated at 1,000 pages. All ratings follow the standard 5% page-coverage test basis. In practice that means the black bay is built to outlast each colour bay: most offices print far more text than colour, so the higher black rating matches how the machine is actually used. Judge each cartridge against its own rating rather than expecting the four to run dry together.

Do all four cartridges have to go in on the same day?

No. A full renewal is the cleanest result, but nothing in the set forces a single swap session. Many owners fit the bay the printer is complaining about first, then work through the remaining slots over the following days as each old cartridge reaches the end. Unopened cartridges keep perfectly well stored flat, out of direct light, in a cool dry drawer — so the box can serve as a staged renewal rather than an all-at-once job if that suits your schedule better.

What exactly am I getting in the box?

Four cartridges, one for every slot in the printer: black 106R02759, cyan 106R02756, magenta 106R02757 and yellow 106R02758. That is the complete station — there is no fifth consumable hiding elsewhere in this machine family and nothing else to add before you print. Each cartridge is keyed to its own bay, so a colour cannot be fitted in the wrong slot, and the set leaves no bay dependent on an ageing cartridge you meant to replace later.

Which machines does this four-cartridge set fit?

It serves the shared 602x supply platform: the Phaser 6022, the Phaser 6027 and the Phaser 6027ni. The three models draw from the same cartridge family, so one set covers whichever of them sits on your desk. Before ordering, match any code from the set — 106R02759, 106R02756, 106R02757 or 106R02758 — against the label of a cartridge already in your machine; a match on any one of them confirms the platform.

If one cartridge in the set disappoints, what cover and delivery do I get?

Each of the four cartridges carries its own 1-year warranty, and returns stay free for a full year too — a cartridge that streaks, leaks or gives out well short of its rating goes back for a replacement or a refund without you covering return postage. Orders are dispatched from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, help is available Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM CST, and complete delivery and returns details live on our shipping and returns page.

About This 4 Color Set for the Xerox 6027 Platform

A complete station renewal for the 602x platform at $45.69: black 106R02759 rated at 2,000 pages, plus cyan 106R02756, magenta 106R02757 and yellow 106R02758 rated at 1,000 pages each. One box refreshes every bay the printer has, ending the cycle of single-cartridge orders and mismatched cartridge ages. Fit all four together for a full reset, or stage them as each slot calls. Individual cartridges and the platform's other supplies are listed across the wider Xerox catalogue.
