Frequently Asked Questions

How does the maths work on this three-pack?

Three MLT-D203E cartridges bought individually would total $176.01. This pack is $139.05, putting each cartridge at $46.35 and keeping $36.96 in your pocket. Across the three cartridges you hold 30,000 rated pages, at roughly 0.46 cents of toner per page.

Who is a three-pack honestly sized for?

A workgroup printer with a predictable, moderately heavy output — the kind of SL-M3820DW or SL-M4020ND that gets through a 10,000-page cartridge every couple of months. Three cartridges cover a good stretch of the year without tying up the money or shelf space that the largest packs demand. A printer that only sips toner would take too long to use them; match the pack to your real monthly count.

Do all three cartridges have to go into the same printer?

No. The pack is three identical MLT-D203E cartridges, and the supply fits the SL-M3820DW, the SL-M3870FW and the SL-M4020ND alike. Offices running two or three of those models often hold one shared stock and fit each cartridge wherever the low-toner light appears first.

Will cartridges waiting in storage stay good?

Yes, if they stay sealed and are kept flat in a cool, dry spot out of direct sun. The packaging protects the toner until the day you open it, so a cartridge fitted months after delivery performs the same as one fitted the same week. Rotate your stock — oldest cartridge into the printer first — and storage takes care of itself.

When the prints fade, should I swap the cartridge first?

That is the right first move, but keep the imaging drum in mind. These printers carry a separate MLT-R203 drum unit, and a drum at the end of its life fades prints no matter how fresh the toner is. If a cartridge from this pack does not bring the blacks back, look to the drum next rather than opening a second cartridge.

What happens if one of the three gives trouble?

Each cartridge in the pack is covered individually by our one-year warranty, and returns are free during that year. You will find the full terms on the shipping and returns page, and our support team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
