Frequently Asked Questions

Is a three-pack roughly a year's supply for our ML-4512ND?

For many departments, yes. Three MLT-D307E cartridges total 60,000 rated pages, so a machine printing around 5,000 pages a month lands close to a year; a quieter desk at 3,000 a month stretches the pack well past that. Check your own page counter for a month and the answer falls out — but for a typical departmental ML-4512ND, an annual toner order is a realistic way to treat this pack.

What does the pack do to the per-cartridge price?

It brings it to $61.85. The pack is $185.56 against $222.57 for three singles bought one at a time, so $37.01 stays in the budget, and the running cost works out near 0.31 cents a page. Each cartridge is the standard MLT-D307E with its full 20,000-page rating — the saving is in the quantity, not in a lesser supply.

Does a three-pack arrive as one shipment?

It does — one order, one delivery, sent from the nearest of our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California. That single arrival is part of the arithmetic: three separate orders across the year would mean three deliveries and three chances to discover an empty shelf at the wrong moment; the pack settles the question at once.

Which printers does the MLT-D307E fit?

The Samsung ML-4512ND named on this listing and the ML-5012ND. One supply code covers both departmental machines, so if your office runs the pair, this pack is a shared stock rather than a per-printer one — the cartridge that comes off the shelf fits the machine that needs it.

Why choose three over the five-pack?

Honestly, pace. Warranty cover runs from the purchase date, so a pack should be sized to the speed you actually print: three cartridges is a full year for many departments, while five could sit into a second year for a lighter office. Three also keeps less cash parked in a cupboard. If your counter says you will burn through five, the bigger pack's lower unit price wins instead — the numbers above let you judge.

What warranty and returns come with this pack?

Each cartridge carries cover against defects for one year, and the purchase can be returned free of charge within that first year; the full wording is on our shipping and returns page. Support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if anything needs sorting out.
