Frequently Asked Questions
Why would an office buy eight cartridges in one box?
Volume, or more than one printer. An eight-cartridge set suits a workplace that works through color sets quickly — or runs two machines from the same cartridge family — and would rather hold its toner in the cupboard than place the same order again in a few weeks. Fewer orders, fewer deliveries, and no mid-job stall while a replacement travels.
What exactly is inside this set?
Eight cartridges drawn from the four CLT-404S codes: the CLT-K404S black and the CLT-C404S cyan, CLT-M404S magenta and CLT-Y404S yellow. The listing names the set by its total of eight cartridges across that family; each individual cartridge carries the family's standard ratings, set out in the next answer.
What are the per-cartridge ratings?
The same as anywhere in this cartridge line: black cartridges are rated at 1,500 pages each and color cartridges at 1,000 pages each, at light standard coverage. However your printing divides between black and color, the set multiplies those figures by the number of cartridges you fit — heavy color work will still pace the colors faster than the blacks.
Which printers does the set serve?
The Samsung Xpress C430, Xpress C430W, Xpress C480 and Xpress C480FW. Because all four machines share the CLT-404S family, an eight-cartridge stock bought against this listing can feed any mix of them — useful where a small fleet was bought across different years and desks.
What does the eight-cartridge set work out to per cartridge?
At $356.62 for eight, the average is about $44.58 a cartridge. Read it as the cost of keeping the shelf stocked in one purchase: the whole order lands in a single delivery instead of arriving as a series of smaller ones.
How is a set this size covered?
Every one of the eight cartridges carries a one-year warranty, and returns are free during the first year. With stock bought ahead, rotate it — fit cartridges from this delivery before opening a later one — and keep the sealed units somewhere cool and out of direct sun. The shipping & returns page covers the process, support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and dispatch is from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses.
