Frequently Asked Questions

Who honestly goes through 125,000 pages of black toner?

More offices than you would expect. A single MP 501SPF in a billing department, a medical office, or a school front office can pass 10,000 pages a month without anyone feeling busy — and at that pace this five-pack is about a year of toner. If your machine's counter climbs five figures monthly, a five-pack is not stockpiling; it is just buying at the rhythm you already print.

What does the five-pack do to my per-page cost?

The set is $112.56 for five cartridges — $22.51 each, against $37.31 bought singly, a $73.99 saving across the set. Spread over the rated 125,000 pages, black output falls to roughly 0.09 cents per page. On a high-volume monochrome machine, that difference compounds into hundreds of dollars a year.

Which printer does this five-pack serve?

Every cartridge in the box is the 407823 black toner for Ricoh MP 501SPF. The platform is black-only, so the five are identical cartridges used one after another — or shared across several MP 501SPF machines if you run a small fleet. Confirm the 407823 number on the cartridge you are replacing for peace of mind.

What if my printing slows down and I don't finish the pack?

Sealed cartridges keep well — stored flat in a cool, dry place, they wait a year or more without issue, so a slower quarter rarely turns into waste. And if plans genuinely change, unopened cartridges are covered by our free returns for a full year. Rotating stock oldest-first keeps the question from coming up in the first place.

How is a bad cartridge handled when it is one of five?

Individually. If cartridge number three streaks or fails early, that cartridge alone is covered under the one-year warranty — the rest of the pack stays in your cabinet and in service. Free returns run for a full year as well; the process is spelled out on our shipping and returns page.

How fast does a five-pack ship, and from where?

We dispatch from warehouses in IL, PA, GA, and CA, so most orders land within a few business days wherever you are. A five-pack is a single shipment — no split deliveries to chase. Questions before or after ordering: support is on hand Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
