Frequently Asked Questions

Ten cartridges at once — who is this pack actually built for?

Fleets and central purchasing. If your organization runs several MP 501SPF machines — branch offices, school buildings, a hospital floor — toner buying becomes a standing chore of small orders, approvals, and shipping line items. A ten-pack turns that into one purchase of 250,000 rated pages that a supply closet or IT storeroom can draw down for a year or more.

What is the bottom-line saving at this size?

Ten singles would run $373.10; the ten-pack is $206.64, so you save $166.46 and pay $20.66 per cartridge — the lowest unit price in this cartridge's family. Over 250,000 pages that works out to roughly 0.08 cents per page. For an organization printing at fleet scale, the saving versus single-cartridge buying is the difference between a supply budget that holds and one that leaks.

Which printers will these cartridges work in?

All ten are the 407823 black toner cartridge for Ricoh MP 501SPF, and because every machine on the platform takes the same cartridge, the pack can be distributed across your whole fleet in whatever proportion each location needs. Verify the 407823 number on any machine's current cartridge before you allocate stock to it.

How do we manage a stock of ten without losing track?

Simple habits carry it: store the boxes sealed and flat in one designated place, mark each with the month it arrived, and always pull the oldest first. A rough reorder trigger works well too — when the shelf drops to two cartridges, it is time. Toner stored this way keeps its quality for well over a year, so a ten-pack does not race a clock.

If one cartridge in ten fails, what then?

That cartridge is covered on its own. Every unit carries a one-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year — a single early failure is replaced or refunded without sending back the remaining nine or disturbing machines already running. The full terms are on our shipping and returns page.

Can one shipment really cover multiple locations?

The ten-pack ships as one order from whichever of our IL, PA, GA, and CA warehouses is closest, arriving within a few business days; from there most organizations redistribute internally with their own inter-office runs. If you would rather stage deliveries differently, talk to us Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST and we will sort it out.
