Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the set actually save over buying the four cartridges separately?

Bought one at a time, the black ($64.03) and three colors ($64.98 each) total $258.97. The set is $203.50, so you keep $55.47 — the equivalent of getting most of one cartridge free — while also getting all four in a single shipment.

What exactly is in the box?

One of each cartridge this platform uses: a black rated at 16,500 pages, plus cyan, magenta, and yellow rated at 10,500 pages each. It is a complete refill for the machine — every slot covered in one order, nothing extra to track down.

Do the four cartridges wear out at the same rate?

No, and the set does not pretend otherwise. Black's higher rating and the text-heavy nature of office printing usually mean the colors finish first, and yellow often leads them because it hides inside greens and photographs. The set's value is the upfront saving and one-order convenience, not synchronized emptying.

My machine is a different model in this family, not the IMC2000 in the title. Will this set fit it?

Yes. All four cartridges in this set are the standard cartridges for the entire Ricoh IM C2000 and IM C2500 platform — the listing title names a single model, but every machine in the family runs on this same black and color set.

Is it sensible to install all four at once if only one cartridge is empty?

Generally, install them as each one runs out and keep the rest sealed on the shelf — you lose nothing, since sealed toner stores well, and you avoid discarding pages left in a partly used cartridge. The exception is a machine being set up fresh or returning to service, where a full matched set is a clean starting point.

If one cartridge in the set has a problem, what protection do I have?

Each cartridge in the set is individually covered by a one-year warranty, and free returns run for a full year across the order. See our shipping and returns page for the details, or reach support Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
