Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the set save versus buying the four cartridges separately?

The four singles total $258.97; this set is $203.50, a saving of $55.47 for the identical cartridges. If your C2500 is showing low levels across several colors at once, the set is simply the cheaper way to buy what you were going to buy anyway.

Do all four cartridges have the same page rating?

No. The black cartridge is rated at 16,500 pages, while cyan, magenta and yellow are each rated at 10,500 pages — and in practice the colors also deplete at different speeds depending on what you print. Expect the set to refresh the whole machine now, with individual colors needing attention again at different times later.

Must I install all four cartridges the moment the set arrives?

Not at all. Swap in whichever colors are actually low and keep the rest sealed in their packaging; toner does not expire on the shelf, so the remaining cartridges are spares, not waste. Many offices install black immediately and hold the colors until each one calls for it.

The title names the C2500 — does the set fit other models too?

Yes. Each cartridge in the set is a standard platform cartridge, and the set serves the whole Ricoh IM C2000 and IM C2500 family — the C2000 and C2500 named across these listings take the same black, cyan, magenta and yellow units. The single-model title is a listing convention only.

On a fast machine like the C2500, how long will a full set last?

It depends on volume more than anything: a workgroup printing a few thousand pages a month may run a set for the better part of a year, while a department pushing the C2500 hard can cycle through the colors in a few months. Speed does not change the rated pages — it just means busy teams reach them sooner.

What cover does the set come with?

Each cartridge in the box carries its own one-year warranty, and returns are free for a year, so a single faulty color never sinks the value of the whole set. Full details are on our shipping and returns page, and support runs Monday through Friday, 9 to 5 Central.
