Frequently Asked Questions

How much do I actually save by buying all four cartridges as a set?

The four cartridges bought individually total $242.66, while this set is $187.20, so the savings come to $55.46. You also get a single order, a single delivery, and a matched set of fresh cartridges instead of four separate purchases spread across the year.

When does a full four-color set make more sense than single refills?

It suits three situations: setting up a machine that is new to your office, catching up when several colors are low at once, and offices that do color-critical work and want all four supplies starting from the same fresh baseline. If only one color is empty and the rest are healthy, a single refill is the thriftier move.

The colors will not run out together, will they?

Almost certainly not, and that is expected. In this set the black cartridge is rated at 23,000 pages while cyan, magenta, and yellow are each rated at 17,000, and everyday text printing leans on black far more than on any color. Treat the set as a well-stocked starting point, then top up individual colors as they empty.

Which machines does this set fit beyond the DSC535 in the title?

The listing names the Gestetner DSC535, but every cartridge in the set is built for the same Ricoh Aficio MP C4503/C5503 platform: Gestetner DSC535 and Gestetner DSC545. If your MFP is on that list, the complete set is correct for it, whatever name appears on the machine's front panel.

Do I have to install all four cartridges on the same day?

No. Nothing about the set requires a simultaneous swap. Install the colors you need now and keep the rest sealed in the cabinet; toner does not dry out, so an unopened cartridge waits patiently until its turn comes.

What warranty and return terms apply to a set like this?

Each cartridge in the bundle is covered by our one-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year after purchase. The full wording is on the shipping and returns page, and our support desk is open Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
