Frequently Asked Questions
Honestly — is a five-pack overbuying for a single machine?
For a light-use printer, yes, and we would rather say so. Five cartridges hold 100,000 rated pages; a machine printing a few hundred pages a month would take years to get through them. But for a busy department or a small fleet sharing one supply order, five at once is simply how the stockroom stays stocked — judge it against your monthly volume, not the size of the box.
What is the per-cartridge price at this quantity?
This is the lowest unit price in the 820000 black family: $256.93 for five cartridges is $51.39 each, against $66.18 bought one at a time. Across the pack that is $73.97 kept in the budget — the saving comes from a single order and a single shipment covering five replacement cycles.
Do all five cartridges fit the same printer?
Yes, every unit in the pack is the same 820000 black cartridge rated at 20,000 pages, made for Ricoh SP C811DN. That also means the pack does not have to belong to one machine — offices running several SP C811DN printers often buy the five-pack centrally and issue cartridges to whichever machine runs dry first.
How do we manage a stock of five without anything going to waste?
Rotate strictly oldest-first and note the arrival date on each box. Keep the cartridges sealed, flat, and in a cool dry place — splitting the stock between two storage spots near different machines is fine too. Sealed toner is patient; the only real waste risk is losing track of what you have, and a date label solves that.
Does buying five at once change our warranty coverage?
No. Bulk pricing changes the price, not the protection: each cartridge carries the same one-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year. A problem with one unit is dealt with for that unit alone — the other four are unaffected. The complete terms are on our shipping and returns page.
What should we expect when a bulk pack like this ships?
It ships from whichever of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA, and CA serves you fastest, and most orders arrive within a few business days. If you are planning a stock-up and want to sanity-check quantities against your fleet, our support team is reachable Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
