Frequently Asked Questions

Is three black cartridges a sensible buy, or are we just overstocking?

Run the math on your volume. The three cartridges carry 60,000 rated pages between them — a department printing 5,000 black pages a month is looking at roughly a year of supply in one order. If your volume is closer to a few hundred pages a month, three is more than you need; if the printer serves a whole floor, it is a tidy annual buy.

How does the per-cartridge price compare with buying singles?

The three-pack is $161.56, or $53.85 per cartridge. Against the $66.18 single price, that is $36.98 saved across the pack — the discount comes from ordering once and shipping once for three replacement cycles instead of three separate times.

How do we keep three cartridges straight in the supply closet?

Keep them sealed and use them oldest-first. A small date note on each box when the shipment arrives makes rotation effortless, and storing them flat in a cool, dry spot keeps the toner settled properly. That simple habit means the cartridge you load in month ten behaves exactly like the one you loaded in month one.

Are all three cartridges in the pack identical?

They are — three of the same 820000 black cartridge, each rated at 20,000 pages, made for Ricoh SP C811DN. Any of the three can go in first, and the pack can also be spread across more than one SP C811DN if your office runs several, since the fit is the same on each machine.

What if one cartridge out of the three turns out to be a dud?

It is handled on its own, without touching the rest of the pack. Each cartridge carries a one-year warranty, so a unit that leaks, streaks, or quits early gets sorted individually. Our support team, available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, will walk you through it — the full policy is on our shipping and returns page.

What if our print volume drops and the last cartridge never gets used?

Returns are free for a full year, so an unopened cartridge left over at the end of a quieter year is not money trapped on a shelf. And practically speaking, sealed cartridges store well — most offices that buy the three-pack simply find the third one gets used eventually. Orders ship from our IL, PA, GA, and CA warehouses.
