Frequently Asked Questions

The printer only holds one black cartridge — why buy two at once?

Because the second one is your insurance. When the loaded cartridge finally fades mid-run, a sealed spare on the shelf turns a two-day wait for delivery into a two-minute swap. For a departmental printer that a whole team depends on, that continuity is the real product here — the toner is almost secondary.

What does the two-pack actually save us?

The pair costs $113.87, which is $56.94 per cartridge against $66.18 for a single — a saving of $18.49 across the two, with 40,000 rated pages between them. You are paying less per cartridge for the simple reason that one shipment and one order covers two replacement cycles instead of one.

Will both cartridges in this pack fit our printer?

Yes — both are the same 820000 black cartridge made for Ricoh SP C811DN. There is no difference between the first and second unit in the pack, so whichever one you load first is fine. The pack also splits cleanly if you run two of these printers: one cartridge in each machine, same fit either way.

How should we store the spare until the first cartridge runs out?

Leave it sealed in its packaging, flat, in a normal office environment away from heat and direct sun. Sealed toner cartridges keep well on the shelf, so a spare bought today is ready whenever the loaded one gives out — just load the older stock first if you ever hold more than one spare.

If the spare sits unused for months, is it still covered?

Yes. Every cartridge we sell is backed by a one-year warranty, and returns stay free for a full year, shelf time included. If the spare ever goes in and streaks, leaks, or dies early, it is handled the same as a cartridge bought yesterday. Details are on our shipping and returns page.

How quickly will a two-pack reach us?

Orders leave from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA, and CA, and most arrive within a few business days. Questions about an order or about which pack size fits your volume — our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
