Frequently Asked Questions
Why stock a mixed five-cartridge set instead of ordering singles as they run out?
Because running out is the expensive part. A mixed reserve means that whichever color the machine asks for next — black or one of the colors — the replacement is already on the shelf and the swap takes minutes. Sites that share one MP C4503 or MP C5503 across a whole team feel that difference most.
What does each cartridge in this set effectively cost?
The set is $401.43 for five cartridges, which works out to $80.29 per cartridge. One box, one delivery, and the per-cartridge figure is set before you know which color you will need first — the reserve logic is the point of the purchase.
Which printers does this set belong to?
Every cartridge in the box comes from the 841849 family for Ricoh MP C4503 and MP C5503. The two models share the same cartridge platform, so this one reserve stock covers either machine without keeping separate shelves.
How should we think about page yields for a mixed box like this?
Class by class. In this family the black cartridges are rated at up to 33,000 pages each and the color cartridges at up to 22,500 pages each, and since real offices burn black and color at very different rates, that per-class view forecasts restocking far better than any combined box figure would.
How do we keep five cartridges organized so the right one is found fast?
Keep the box intact as your reserve unit and mark the arrival month on it. When a cartridge goes into the machine, note which color was taken — a sticky note on the box is enough — so a glance tells you what the reserve still holds. Sealed toner stores best cool and dry, away from sunlight and heat sources.
What if a single cartridge from the set proves faulty?
It is handled alone. Every cartridge in the set carries our one-year warranty on its own and returns are free for a full year, so the remaining reserve is never part of the claim. The steps are laid out on our shipping and returns page, and the set ships from the nearest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses.
