Frequently Asked Questions
When does replacing all four colors at once make sense?
At a fresh start: a machine newly installed or returning from a major service, a device adopted from another department with unknown supplies in it, or the moment several cartridges happen to run down together. A full set puts every color on the same clock, which makes the machine's consumption far easier to read afterwards.
What yields should we plan around with this set?
Plan by cartridge class, not by a single box total. The black cartridge in this family is rated at up to 33,000 pages, and each color cartridge — cyan, magenta and yellow — is rated at up to 22,500 pages. Black almost always outlasts the colors in everyday office printing, so expect the color side of the set to need attention first.
Which machines is this four-cartridge set for?
The set is the complete 841849 family for Ricoh MP C4503 and MP C5503 — one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow cartridge for that shared platform, so the same box serves either model.
After this set, the colors will drain at different speeds — what then?
That is normal, and the set is meant as the starting point rather than the pattern. Once the four are installed, each color empties on its own schedule depending on what you print; from there you restock whichever single color runs down, and the black will typically still be going long after the first color change.
How does the price work out per cartridge?
The set is $339.38 for the four cartridges, which averages $84.85 per cartridge. That buys the complete four-color refresh in one delivery instead of four separate orders arriving at four different times, with every color starting fresh together.
What protection covers the cartridges in the set?
Each cartridge carries our one-year warranty individually and returns are free for a full year — if one color misbehaves, only that cartridge is dealt with, not the whole set. The details are on our shipping and returns page, orders ship from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and support runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
