Frequently Asked Questions

Who honestly goes through 165,000 black pages?

Fleets and print-heavy departments: several MP C4503 or MP C5503 machines drawing on one central stock, a back office running statements or case files all day, or a site that simply cannot afford a toner outage. If your black volume is light, be honest with yourself — a smaller pack is the smarter buy, and this box will sit on your shelf a long time.

Is this the cheapest way to buy this cartridge?

Per cartridge, yes. The five-pack is $328.74, which works out to $65.75 per cartridge — the lowest unit price in this black family — against $80.53 bought singly. Across the five cartridges that is $73.91 kept compared with five separate single orders.

Which printers does this five-pack supply?

All five cartridges are the 841849 black for Ricoh MP C4503 and MP C5503. Because both models share one cartridge platform, a single central stock of this box can serve a mixed floor of the two machines.

How should a stock this size be stored and tracked?

Split it if you can: a working shelf near the machines and the balance in a second spot, so one misplaced box never empties your reserve. Date every cartridge on arrival, use the oldest first, and keep the sealed stock somewhere cool, dry and out of direct sun. A simple count at month-end against your print volume tells you when the next order is due well before it is urgent.

What if one cartridge out of the five lets us down?

Only that cartridge is the issue. Each one is protected individually by our one-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year, so the other four cartridges and your stock position are untouched. You will find how the process works on our shipping and returns page.

How is an order like this delivered?

It ships from the closest of our four warehouses — IL, PA, GA and CA — so transit is a few business days for most locations rather than a cross-country wait. If you want help sizing an order to your fleet before buying, our support team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
