Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually buys toner five cartridges at a time?

Offices whose machine never really rests: a busy department workhorse, a small fleet sharing one supply shelf, or any site where a toner outage stops other people's work. Five high-yield cartridges in reserve means a low-toner warning is a two-minute swap, not an order, a wait and a delivery window.

What does the per-cartridge price work out to?

The set is $371.53 for five cartridges, which is $74.31 per cartridge. Compare that with the family singles — black at $78.28, cyan and magenta at $98.21 each, yellow at $92.52 — and every cartridge in this box costs less than the single it replaces, whichever color turns out to be needed next.

Which machines do the cartridges in this set fit?

Every cartridge in the box belongs to the high-yield family for Ricoh Aficio MP C4502 and MP C5502, and the set serves both models on that platform. The family also exists in a standard-yield version for the same machines; this box is the high-yield line throughout, so yields are the larger ratings wherever the box is opened.

What page ratings should we plan around for a mixed box like this?

Plan by cartridge class rather than by the box total: in this family the black cartridges are rated at up to 31,000 pages each and the color cartridges at up to 22,500 pages each. Because black and color are consumed at different rates in real offices, that class-by-class view gives a far better restock forecast than any single combined number.

How should five cartridges be rotated so none sits forgotten at the back?

Use the oldest stock first. When the box arrives, write the month and year on each cartridge box, load the shelf so the earliest dates sit at the front, and pull from the front every time. Sealed toner keeps well in a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight, and a dated shelf makes the rotation automatic.

What if one cartridge out of the five turns out to be faulty?

It is handled on its own. Each cartridge carries our 1-year warranty individually and returns are free for a full year, so a single bad cartridge never means returning or risking the other four. You will find the steps on our shipping and returns page, and the set itself ships from whichever of our IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses is closest to you.
