Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of operation needs 155,000 pages of black toner at once?

Print-heavy environments: a central copy room, a school or clinic running several of these machines, or a department that processes forms and reports all day. Five high-yield cartridges at 31,000 pages each let you set an annual supply plan and stop thinking about toner for months. At $317.42, the per-cartridge cost is $63.48 — $73.98 below the cost of five singles.

How does the per-page cost look at this quantity?

Better than anywhere else in this family. $63.48 spread over a rated 31,000 pages is about $0.002 per page for black output. For a high-volume site, that small per-page difference versus the standard-yield cartridge compounds into real money across 155,000 pages.

Can these cartridges be spread across both C4502 and C5502 units?

Yes. This is the high-yield black cartridge for Ricoh Aficio MP C4502 and MP C5502, and every unit in the five-pack fits either model on the platform — the C4502 name in this listing is just how the pack is catalogued. Keep in mind the platform also has a standard-yield cartridge family; this pack is deliberately the high-yield one, so confirm your machines' supply closets are labeled accordingly if you stock both.

How should we store five cartridges safely?

Keep them sealed, flat, and in a cool, dry cabinet away from radiators and sunny windows, and rotate them oldest-first. Spread across two storage spots if you can — it protects the whole supply from a single leak or flood event in one closet.

If a cartridge fails halfway through the pack, what happens?

Each of the five is warrantied on its own for a year, and returns are free for a year under our shipping and returns policy. You report the one bad unit, we replace that unit — the rest of your stock is untouched and your machines keep running.

How quickly can a pack this size reach us?

We fulfill from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, so transit times are short for most US locations, and support is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. If you are setting up a recurring supply arrangement, browse the family on our Ricoh toner page or call us to talk volume.
