Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually goes through 93,000 pages of black toner?

Usually not one machine — it is a fleet or a genuinely busy department. Three cartridges at 31,000 pages each suit an office running several C4502/C5502 units, or a single copy room that burns through a cartridge every month or two. At $197.86, the per-cartridge price drops to $65.95, which is $36.98 less than three singles bought separately.

How do we manage three cartridges without losing track of stock?

The simplest system is a marked shelf spot and a rule: when the last cartridge leaves the shelf, reorder. Because these are individually sealed, you can also split the pack across floors or buildings on day one and treat each location's stock separately.

Will all three cartridges work across our C4502 and C5502 machines?

Yes — this is the high-yield black for Ricoh Aficio MP C4502 and MP C5502, and any cartridge from the pack can go into either model on the platform, even though this listing is written around the C4502. One clarification worth making: the platform also accepts a separate standard-yield family with lower page counts, so make sure your team knows these are the 31,000-page high-yield units when they reorder.

Does buying three at once change the warranty in any way?

No. Each cartridge is covered individually for a full year, and our returns stay free for a year as well — see the shipping and returns policy for the specifics. Buying in a pack changes the price per cartridge, nothing about the protection.

How long can the third cartridge sit before we install it?

Sealed toner is patient. Kept flat, dry, and out of heat and direct sun, a cartridge can wait many months on the shelf without any effect on output quality. Just use them in the order you received them so no unit sits forgotten for years.

What happens if our print volume drops after we buy the pack?

The cartridges do not expire on a schedule, so a slower quarter simply means the pack lasts longer. If you find the pack was genuinely the wrong purchase, our 1-year free returns give you a long window to send unopened stock back — details are on the Ricoh toner page and the returns policy linked above.
