Frequently Asked Questions
Who actually goes through six color cartridges — is this sized for a busy shop?
Yes, this is the bulk option for the SP C430DN, aimed at print rooms, marketing departments and offices where the color machine runs every day. Six cartridges, with every color rated at 24,000 pages, means the shelf stays stocked through long stretches of heavy work without a reordering round every few weeks. For a light-use office it would be more than you need — a single set of colors would do — but for sustained color volume, buying six at once at $343.98 removes toner from your list of things to think about.
Will these cartridges work in my machine?
These color cartridges are made for the Ricoh SP C430DN, and each color is rated at 24,000 pages. The box contains color cartridges only — the black cartridge for the SP C430DN is sold separately and runs on its own replacement cycle. As with any Ricoh color model, confirming the model name on your machine against this listing is the one check worth doing before a bulk order.
How should I store six cartridges at once?
Keep them sealed, flat and in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Toner cartridges do not dry out, so a sealed cartridge stored properly is in no hurry. Work through them in the order they arrived — first in, first out — and write the arrival month on each box if your stockroom holds supplies for several machines. A gentle side-to-side rock before installing a cartridge spreads the toner evenly after months on the shelf.
Does buying in bulk change my warranty or returns?
No — every cartridge in this six-pack is covered individually by the same 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns as a single cartridge, with the full terms on our shipping and returns page. If one cartridge out of the six misbehaves, that cartridge is dealt with on its own; the rest of your stock is unaffected and you are not asked to return good cartridges to resolve a faulty one.
How long does 24,000 pages per color last at high volume?
The 24,000-page rating per color is based on the standard 5% coverage test. A busy department printing, say, 500 color pages a day will move through colors far faster than the rating suggests if pages carry heavy graphics, and more slowly on text-led work. The value of the six-pack at that pace is continuity: when the machine calls for a color, the replacement is already in the building, and with warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, even a top-up order does not have far to travel.
What support comes with an order this size?
Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST for order questions, cartridge troubleshooting or help planning how much stock your volume actually justifies. If you are equipping more than one SP C430DN, tell us — we can help you sanity-check quantities against your print volumes so you are stocked for continuity without tying up shelf space and budget in cartridges you will not open for a year.
