Frequently Asked Questions
Who actually goes through five black cartridges — is this sized for a department?
Yes, this is the high-volume option. Five cartridges at 24,000 pages each is 120,000 pages of black output. That fits a department or a small fleet of machines sharing the same cartridge, where black documents — reports, invoices, forms — are printed every day and running out mid-week is not an option.
What is the lowest per-cartridge price in this family?
This 5-pack. At $273.73 for five, each cartridge costs $54.75, compared with $69.54 for a single. Against five singles you save $73.97, and the per-page cost for black output drops well under the single-cartridge rate of about 0.29 cents.
Can the pack be shared across several printers?
Yes — that is one of the main reasons to buy it. The cartridges can be spread across multiple machines that use this cartridge, or divided between locations, with each site keeping its own shelf spare. Every cartridge installs the same way.
Which machines is this 5-pack for?
Each of the five cartridges is the black cartridge for Ricoh SP C430DN. Only black cartridges are in this pack; the color cartridges for the SP C430DN are sold separately.
How are warranty and returns handled on a pack this size?
Every cartridge is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, handled per cartridge — if one underperforms, that one is dealt with on its own rather than the whole pack. The full terms are on our shipping and returns page.
Is there any reason not to buy the 5-pack?
Honestly, if your black volume is low or the machine may be retired soon, five cartridges could be more than you will use — a single or 2-pack would suit you better. Orders ship from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA or CA, and support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, if you want help sizing your order first.
