Frequently Asked Questions
Is a 3-pack roughly a year's supply of black toner?
For many offices, yes. Three cartridges at 24,000 pages each give you 72,000 pages of black output. A workgroup printing about 6,000 black pages a month would take a full year to use that. Lighter users will stretch it further; heavier departments will reorder sooner. Checking your last few months of print volume is the quickest way to size it.
What does the per-cartridge price drop to in this pack?
The 3-pack is $171.64, which is $57.21 per cartridge — down from $69.54 for a single. Compared with buying three singles, you save $36.98. The pages do not change: each cartridge is still rated for 24,000 pages, so the saving comes purely from the pack price.
How should I store the cartridges I am not using yet?
Leave them sealed in their boxes, stored flat in a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight. When you open a new one, rotate your stock so the oldest cartridge is always used first. Toner does not dry out like ink, so a sealed spare keeps well between changes.
Which printer does this 3-pack belong to?
All three cartridges are the black cartridge for Ricoh SP C430DN. This is a black-only pack — the SP C430DN's color cartridges are separate listings and are not part of this one.
Does buying a pack change my warranty or return rights?
No. Every cartridge in the pack carries the same 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns as a single cartridge, and each one is covered individually. You can read the full policy on our shipping and returns page.
What if our print volume drops and we do not use all three?
The unopened cartridges keep in storage, and the 1-year free returns window gives you room if your needs change soon after ordering. For a machine still in regular service, most offices find a 3-pack is used up well within a sensible timeframe.
