Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of office keeps five cartridges in the supply cabinet?

One that has done the arithmetic on its own print volume. Five cartridges is roughly a working quarter's stock for a mid-size department running an MP C3003/C3503-family machine hard, or a sensible shared shelf for two machines. It sits deliberately between the four-color refresh and the big eight-pack: enough to stop thinking about toner for months, without tying up a large budget line in one order.

How does the bundle pricing compare with buying singles?

The set works out to $66.23 per cartridge across its five cartridges. Against $79.94 for a black single or $81.74 for a color single, that's roughly $14–15 saved per cartridge — the bundle discount applied evenly, with the same rated cartridges inside. For an office that will certainly use five cartridges, ordering them one emergency at a time is simply the expensive way to reach the same shelf.

How do the page ratings work across a mixed bundle like this?

By class, not by a single combined number. In this family, black cartridges are rated at 29,500 pages and color cartridges at 18,000 pages each, and any cartridge in this bundle carries its own class rating. That's why we don't quote one total page count for the set — a total would depend on the mix and would mislead more than it informs. Plan by class: watch the color levels for the 18,000-page rhythm and the black level for its longer one.

How do we keep track of stock so we don't reorder too early or too late?

The simple system that works: when the second-to-last cartridge of a class goes into the machine, that's the reorder signal — it leaves a full cartridge of buffer while the new order ships from our IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses. A sticky note on the cabinet door beats most inventory software at this scale, and it keeps both failure modes — the empty shelf and the dusty overstock — away.

Is this five-cartridge set made for only the model in the title?

No. Every cartridge in the bundle is a Ricoh Aficio MP C3003/C3503 platform cartridge; the listing is titled for one model, but the set serves the machines across that whole platform family. It works with: Aficio MP C3003, Aficio MP C3004, Aficio MP C3503 and Aficio MP C3504

What's the warranty position on a multi-cartridge order?

Full cover, cartridge by cartridge: a one-year warranty on each one and free returns for a full year, as set out on our shipping & returns page. Buying in a bundle doesn't dilute the protection you'd get buying singly.
