Frequently Asked Questions
Who actually needs three black cartridges in a single order?
Offices running more than one MP C300/C400 family machine, and single departments that print black heavily enough to change cartridges every month or two. Three cartridges is 24,900 rated pages of black — a realistic quarter's supply for a busy workgroup. If your machine prints a few hundred pages a month, a smaller pack is the smarter buy.
What does the three-pack do to my per-cartridge cost?
It brings each cartridge down to $32.91, against $45.24 for a single. Across the pack you save $36.98 compared with three separate single purchases, and the per-page cost for black drops to about 0.40 cents. The savings grow with pack size because the cartridge itself never changes — only the quantity discount does.
Does this cartridge fit every model it is listed under?
How should I rotate three cartridges through the shelf?
Use them oldest first. Toner cartridges are individually sealed and keep well, but first-in, first-out rotation means no cartridge sits forgotten for years. A simple habit works: when you install the second cartridge, note the date; when you install the third, place your next order so the shelf never reaches zero.
How quickly will a busy department burn through 24,900 pages?
Black output is what these machines spend fastest, because every text page, copy and fax draws on it while the colors are rated higher at 10,000 pages each. A department printing 3,000 black pages a month goes through this pack in roughly eight months. At 6,000 a month, expect about four months — which is exactly why the pack exists.
How am I covered if a cartridge from the pack disappoints?
Each cartridge in the pack is covered by our one-year warranty, and returns stay free for a full year under the policy on our shipping and returns page. Support answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you need help with an install or a quality issue.
