Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually needs six color cartridges at once?

Offices that print color every day, not occasionally. On a Ricoh SP C252DN doing daily handouts, invoices with color branding, or classroom and front-desk material, color cartridges are a recurring supply rather than an emergency purchase, and a six-cartridge stock at $246.92 ends the pattern of running dry mid-week and waiting on a delivery. If your color printing is a few pages a month, be honest with yourself: this pack is more toner than you need, and a smaller set is the smarter buy.

What exactly do I get in this six-pack?

Six compatible color cartridges for the SP C252DN — cyan, magenta and yellow positions are what this pack covers — with each cartridge rated at 6,500 pages. Black is not part of this listing; the black cartridge for this machine is sold separately. We describe the pack by its cartridge count and per-color rating rather than a single combined page figure, because the three colors are consumed at different rates depending on what you print.

Will these cartridges fit my printer?

They are made for Ricoh SP C252DN. Check the model plate on your machine before ordering — Ricoh's compact SP C-series models look alike but do not share cartridges. Each cartridge goes into its matching color slot only, so a pack like this is simply several rounds of the same straightforward swap, spread over the life of the stock.

How should I store six cartridges so the last one is as good as the first?

Keep them sealed in their packaging, flat, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and heaters. Use them in the order you received them — oldest stock first — and date the box when it arrives so rotation is obvious to whoever restocks the printer. Unopened toner is patient, but a cartridge that sat for a long stretch deserves a gentle rock side to side before installation to redistribute the toner inside.

Is a six-pack risky if our printing volume drops?

It can be, and we would rather say so than oversell the pack. If your office slows down, changes printers, or moves work to another machine, sealed cartridges can sit unused — that is the real cost of bulk buying, not the price per cartridge. The protection is that every cartridge carries the coverage below from delivery, but the sensible rule stands: buy six when your recent usage says you will use six, not on a forecast that might change.

What cover applies across the whole pack?

Each cartridge in the pack is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, detailed on our shipping and returns page. A single faulty cartridge is dealt with by itself — you do not send back the whole stock. Support runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and orders leave from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA.
