Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I replace all three colors at the same time?

Because colors rarely age evenly in real use, but they do age together. If your SP C252DN has been running on its original set, swapping in fresh cyan, magenta and yellow at once restores the full color balance in one maintenance stop instead of three separate interruptions spread over the next few months. A single new color next to two tired ones can also make color matching harder — fresh cyan against faded magenta pushes prints toward blue. This set puts one cartridge of each color in the box, each rated at 6,500 pages.

Exactly what is in this $132.70 set?

Three cartridges: one cyan, one magenta and one yellow, each rated at 6,500 pages for the Ricoh SP C252DN. There is no black cartridge in this set — black for this machine is a separate listing — so this is the complete color refill for a printer whose black is still healthy. At $132.70 for the three colors together, it is the straightforward way to restock every color position in a single order.

Is this the right color set for my machine?

This set is built for Ricoh SP C252DN. Confirm the model on your printer before you buy, because Ricoh's SP C-series includes close cousins that use different cartridges and a set bought for the wrong model helps nobody. Each cartridge is keyed to its own color slot, so as long as the model matches, installation is simply matching each color to its labeled position.

Does 6,500 pages per color mean 19,500 pages of color printing?

No — and this is worth understanding before you buy. The 6,500-page rating applies to each color separately, and a color page draws on all three cartridges at once in different amounts. Your real color volume is limited by whichever color your documents use most: heavy blue branding drains cyan faster, warm graphics lean on magenta and yellow. Think of the set as three parallel 6,500-page supplies feeding the same pages, not a single pool of pages you can add together.

What if one color in the set turns out to be faulty?

It is handled on its own. A problem with a single cartridge does not mean returning or replacing all three — the faulty color is addressed individually, and the other two keep working in the meantime. Keep the box until all three are installed and printing cleanly, and note which color misbehaves if you contact us; that makes the fix faster and avoids swapping a healthy cartridge by mistake.

What warranty and returns cover this three-color set?

The set carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on every cartridge in it, with the details on our shipping and returns page. Support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. We ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, so both the original set and any replacement travel from the closest stocked location.
