Frequently Asked Questions
Who genuinely burns through five cartridges on a printer this small?
Small teams that print color every day — a real-estate office running flyers, a clinic printing patient handouts, a school office doing weekly packets. At 2,300 pages per cartridge, an active SP C250-series machine can finish a cartridge in weeks, so a five-cartridge set at $240.50 simply matches the real consumption rhythm of the printer.
How many pages does this set put in our supply cabinet?
Five cartridges at 2,300 pages each means up to 11,500 pages of rated capacity sitting on your shelf, ready to install as slots run dry. We deliberately describe it that way — by total cartridge count and per-cartridge rating — because how those pages split between black and color work depends entirely on what you print.
Does one box of five really serve both printer models?
Yes. The cartridges in this set are the shared family for Ricoh SP C250DN and SP C252DN — the listing names one model, but the same cartridges run across the whole platform. If your office has one of each model side by side, this single set can feed both machines.
Is buying five at once smarter than reordering singles?
For steady users, yes: the set price of $240.50 works out to about $48.10 per cartridge, well under the $61.64 a color single costs on its own, and you stop paying the downtime tax of emergency orders. For a printer that sits idle most weeks, singles are honestly the better buy — five cartridges of shelf stock only pay off if you actually print.
How should we store the cartridges we are not installing yet?
Keep them sealed, flat, and in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat vents; stored that way, toner cartridges hold their quality for a long shelf life. Rotate stock oldest-first, and only open a cartridge when a slot is ready for it.
What protection comes with a bulk set like this?
Each of the five cartridges is individually covered by our one-year warranty and one-year free returns, detailed on our shipping and returns page. A single weak cartridge never means returning the whole box — contact us Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and we replace just the faulty unit.
