Frequently Asked Questions
Why does this set leave the black cartridge out?
Because in most offices black outlasts the colors by a wide margin — text and copies burn through cyan, magenta and yellow on charts, logos and photos while the black cartridge still has life in it. This three-cartridge set refreshes exactly the slots that run dry first: cyan, magenta and yellow, each rated at 2,300 pages.
How much do we save versus buying the three colors separately?
The same three cartridges bought one at a time total $184.92; as this set they are $147.94, so you keep $36.98. The per-cartridge cost also drops, which softens this platform's running cost a little — though we will not pretend 2,300-page cartridges at roughly 2.68 cents per color page are cheap to run.
Will these three cartridges work in our printer?
Yes — this color set is made for Ricoh SP C250DN and SP C252DN, and both models on the platform take the same cartridges, so a listing that names one model still covers the other. Check that your machine is one of those two models and that the empty slots are indeed the colors, and you are ordering the right box.
Can we swap in only the one color that is empty?
Absolutely — each cartridge installs independently, so replace the empty color now and keep the other two sealed as spares. Unopened cartridges keep fine on a shelf in a cool, dry spot, and having the next color already in the building is the cheapest insurance against a mid-job stop.
Our color prints look faded even though no cartridge shows empty — will a fresh set fix that?
Often, yes: cartridges near the end of their 2,300-page rating can fade gradually before the printer declares them empty, and fresh cyan, magenta and yellow usually restore saturation in one pass. If color is still weak after installing fresh cartridges, call us Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST — the issue may be a printer setting or a worn component rather than toner.
How are returns handled if we order the wrong set?
Order mistakes happen, and our shipping and returns page covers you with free returns for a full year, alongside the one-year warranty on every cartridge. Send back what you do not need in its original condition and we will refund or exchange it without a hassle.
