Frequently Asked Questions
Does replacing all four cartridges at once actually save us anything?
Yes, in two ways: this set is $194.22 against $249.70 if you bought the four cartridges one at a time — a $55.48 saving — and you start all four colors on the same fresh cycle instead of chasing one empty slot after another for weeks. Each cartridge in the set is rated at 2,300 pages, so the whole machine is reset in one short session.
What exactly is inside the four-cartridge set?
One black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow cartridge — four cartridges total, each rated at 2,300 pages. There are no extra drums or parts in the box; on this Ricoh platform the cartridge is the only routine consumable you swap.
Does this set fit the SP C252DN as well as the C250DN?
It does — the set covers Ricoh SP C250DN and SP C252DN, because both models use the same cartridge family across the platform, even though a given listing may name only one of them. As long as your machine is one of those two models, all four cartridges in this box belong in it.
How long will a full set last a small office?
At 2,300 pages per cartridge, a set covers roughly 2,300 full-color pages or a much larger run of mostly-black documents, since text pages draw almost entirely on the black cartridge. A light office might stretch a set across several months; a team printing color handouts daily will cycle through it far sooner — that is the honest rhythm of this compact machine.
Should we install all four even if only one color is empty?
You can install just the empty one and keep the rest sealed on the shelf — sealed cartridges store well in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Many offices do exactly that: the set price locks in the $55.48 saving today, and the remaining cartridges go in as each slot runs dry.
If one cartridge in the set turns out defective, what happens?
That single cartridge is covered on its own: our one-year warranty and free returns apply per cartridge, so a faulty unit is replaced or refunded without sending the whole set back. Reach support Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and we will make it right.
About This Four Color Set
This Clever Supplies compatible four-cartridge set — black, cyan, magenta and yellow, each rated at 2,300 pages — refreshes the entire Ricoh SP C250DN / SP C252DN platform for $194.22, which is $55.48 less than the $249.70 the same four cartridges cost bought singly. We are upfront that roughly 2.7 cents per page is not bargain printing; it is simply the running cost of this small desktop family, and the set is the most economical way to feed it. Orders ship from IL, PA, GA or CA, and every cartridge carries a one-year warranty with one-year free returns. See the full lineup in our Ricoh toner collection.
