Frequently Asked Questions

Why keep a second black cartridge on the shelf when the machine only holds one?

Because a shared workgroup printer never runs dry at a convenient moment. When the installed cartridge fades mid-job, a shelf spare turns a stalled printer and an urgent order into a two-minute swap. This two-pack puts 20,000 rated pages under your control — one working in the machine, one ready the moment it is needed.

How does the two-pack pricing compare with buying singles?

Each cartridge in this pack costs $41.10, against $50.35 for the single — a total saving of $18.50 across the pair. That brings the rated running cost down to about 0.41 cents per black page, and the step down comes simply from buying the two cartridges together rather than one at a time.

Will the spare cartridge deteriorate while it sits in storage?

Not if it stays sealed. Keep the unopened cartridge in its box, out of direct sunlight and away from heat, and it will be ready to install months later. A practical habit is to note the purchase date on the box and always install the older cartridge first, so stock rotates naturally.

Can we split this pair between two different machines in our office?

Yes, as long as both machines are on the same platform. The cartridge in this pack fits the entire family — Ricoh Aficio MP C2030, MP C2050 and MP C2530 — so the two cartridges can go into two different machines, or both can serve one. The listing is filed under the C2030 name, but the cartridge itself is the standard 841280 black for the whole platform.

If one cartridge in the pack is faulty, do we have to send both back?

No. Each cartridge is covered on its own by our one-year warranty, so a defective unit can be replaced without returning its partner. Free returns run for a full year as well; just start the process through our shipping and returns page and tell us which of the two cartridges is the problem.

How quickly will the two-pack reach us?

Orders leave from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and most customers see delivery within a few business days depending on location. If you are ordering because the low-toner warning just appeared, that timing normally leaves you printing on the old cartridge until the pack arrives. Our support team is reachable Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST for order questions.
