Frequently Asked Questions

Honestly — is a five-pack too much black toner for one machine?

For a lightly used machine, yes, it probably is, and we would rather say so than sell you shelf stock you do not need. The pack holds 50,000 rated pages: a workgroup printing 2,000 black pages a month takes about two years to use it. It earns its place in high-volume departments and in offices running several machines on this platform, where five cartridges disappear on schedule.

What is the running cost at this pack size?

This is the cheapest way to buy this cartridge: $35.55 per cartridge against $50.35 for a single, which is $73.98 saved across the pack and a rated cost of about 0.36 cents per black page. If your volume genuinely supports the quantity, no smaller pack in this family matches that per-page figure.

How do we store five cartridges over a long period without problems?

Keep them sealed in their boxes, stored flat in a cool, dry cupboard away from radiators and windows. Toner cartridges are not perishable in any short-term sense, but heat and sunlight are their enemies over a span of years. Date each box on arrival and work through them oldest-first, so the last cartridge installed is still the freshest of the batch.

Can one pack supply several different models across our office?

Yes — that is one of the main reasons fleets standardise on it. Every cartridge in the pack is the same 841280 black and serves the entire platform, Ricoh Aficio MP C2030, MP C2050 and MP C2530, even though this listing is titled for the C2030. Five cartridges on one shelf can keep any mix of those machines running without model-by-model stock checks.

Does buying in bulk change our warranty or returns coverage?

No. Bulk pricing does not shrink your protection: each of the five cartridges carries the same one-year warranty, and free returns run for a full year on the order. If a cartridge fails early, it is handled individually under the terms on our shipping and returns page — the rest of the pack is unaffected.

How does an order of this size ship?

The pack ships from whichever of our warehouses — IL, PA, GA or CA — gets it to you fastest, and most orders arrive within a few business days. If you need the cartridges split across locations or have a question about a bulk order, our support team is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.
