Frequently Asked Questions

How should a busy office time its reorders around a two-pack like this?

A practical rhythm is to treat the second cartridge as your reorder trigger: the day it goes into the machine, place the next order. Because each cartridge is rated at 16,500 pages, that gives you a full cartridge's worth of printing — usually weeks of lead time — before you can actually run dry.

What does the pair do to our cost per page?

The two-pack is $109.58, which works out to $54.79 per cartridge and roughly 0.33 cents per page across the pair's combined 33,000 pages. Compared with buying two singles at $64.03, you keep $18.48 and cut the per-page cost on every black-and-white page you print.

We have two machines from this family on the floor — can one pack feed both?

Yes. The two cartridges in the pack are identical individual units, so you can install one in each machine, or keep both for a single high-volume device. Many offices standardize on this cartridge across the whole platform and simply stock packs on the shelf.

Does the "C2000" in this listing's title mean the pack fits only that model?

No — the title names one model, but these 842307 cartridges fit the entire Ricoh IM C2000 and IM C2500 platform. Any machine in that family will accept either cartridge from this pack, which is exactly why multi-machine offices buy it this way.

How should the spare cartridge be stored while it waits its turn?

Keep it sealed in its bag, lying flat in a cool, dry cabinet away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Stored that way, a toner cartridge waits patiently for months or longer — toner powder does not dry out the way liquid ink does.

How are the two cartridges in this pack covered?

Both units carry the same one-year warranty and one-year free returns described on our shipping and returns page. If either cartridge misbehaves, our support team (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST) will sort it out, and stock ships from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA.
