Frequently Asked Questions
Who actually orders five black cartridges at $562.56 in one go?
Facilities and office managers running several SP C830DN machines, or one machine with very heavy black volume. Five cartridges are rated for up to 117,500 black pages combined, which is a purchasing cycle, not a top-up: one order, one invoice, and a stocked supply shelf instead of five separate reorders scattered across the year. If you run a single lightly used machine, this pack is honestly more than you need.
What does the five-pack pricing work out to per cartridge?
At $562.56 the per-cartridge price is $112.51 — the lowest in this family — against $127.31 for a single, and the pack saves $73.99 versus buying five one at a time. That puts black output at roughly 0.48 cents per rated page. The step-down per cartridge is steady rather than dramatic, so the pack earns its keep through volume and fewer orders, not a fire-sale price.
How do we manage five cartridges without wasting any?
Rotate them: label each box with its arrival date, store them sealed, flat and away from heat, and always install the oldest first. Spread across a fleet, a practical pattern is one cartridge per machine plus a central spare, with a reorder point set when the last sealed box is opened.
Which printers does this five-pack supply?
Every cartridge in the pack is made for Ricoh Aficio SP C830DN. These are black cartridges only — the color cartridges for this machine are stocked separately and do not come in this box. Each one installs in the black slot in place of the spent cartridge.
What coverage do five cartridges carry?
Each cartridge is individually backed by our 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a faulty unit in month three is handled on its own without returning the rest of the pack. The complete wording is on our shipping and returns page.
How is an order this size delivered, and who supports it?
The pack ships from the closest of our four warehouses in IL, PA, GA or CA. If you are standardizing a fleet on this cartridge and want to talk volume or timing, our support team is on hand Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
