Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually goes through three 20,000-page cartridges — is this a year's supply?

For many offices, yes. The three cartridges cover up to 60,000 pages in total. A department printing 5,000 pages a month would take about a year to use the pack; at 3,000 pages a month it stretches closer to 20 months. If your SP 5100N handles billing runs, shipping documents, or report packets daily, a three-pack matches that pace without constant reordering.

What is the per-cartridge and per-page math on this pack?

The pack is $166.29, which works out to $55.43 per cartridge — $12.33 less per cartridge than the $67.76 single price, and $36.99 saved against buying three singles. Spread over 60,000 rated pages, toner cost lands at roughly 0.28 cents per page.

Which machine do these cartridges fit?

All three cartridges are made for Ricoh Aficio SP 5100N. They are black toner cartridges for that single monochrome model, and they install one at a time as each previous cartridge is used up.

Is there a risk in buying toner this far ahead?

Not if it is stored properly. Keep the cartridges sealed, flat, and in a cool, dry room away from windows and heaters, and they remain ready to use across the whole period this pack is meant to cover. The practical risk to avoid is the opposite one: running a high-volume printer with no spare on hand and losing a workday to an empty cartridge.

Does buying a three-pack change the coverage on each cartridge?

No. Every cartridge in the pack is individually covered by the same one-year warranty and one year of free returns as a single purchase, counted from your order. If the second or third cartridge ever underperforms when its turn comes, it is still handled on its own merits — just reach out Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, or check the shipping and returns page for the details.

How fast will the pack get to us?

Orders ship from whichever of our warehouses — IL, PA, GA, or CA — puts the box in your hands soonest. Most offices receive multi-packs within a few business days, which makes it easy to time a reorder so the new pack arrives just as the last shelf cartridge goes into the printer.
