Frequently Asked Questions

How long will one cartridge last in a small office?

This cartridge is rated for up to 6,400 pages. An office printing around 500 pages a month can expect roughly a year of use; at 1,000 pages a month, plan on about six months. Actual life depends on how dense your pages are — text memos stretch it further, while forms and reports with heavy coverage use toner faster.

What does each printed page actually cost?

At $46.36 for up to 6,400 pages, the math works out to roughly 0.72 cents per page for the toner itself. For a single-printer office watching its supply budget, that is the number that matters — no drum or maintenance kit costs are bundled into this cartridge price.

Which printer does this cartridge work in?

It is made for the Ricoh Aficio SP 3500DN. Match the cartridge code 406989 to the one printed on your current cartridge or listed in the printer's supply information, and it seats in the same slot the original used.

Can I swap it in the middle of a print job?

Yes. When the printer stops on a toner-out message, open the front cover, slide the old cartridge out and the new one in, and the job resumes from where it paused. The whole change takes under a minute and needs no tools or technician.

What if the cartridge arrives damaged or prints poorly?

Every cartridge we sell is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns — if it fails or the print quality is not right, contact us and we will make it right. Full terms are on our shipping and returns page.

How fast will my order get here?

Orders ship from whichever of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA or CA is closest to you, so most addresses see delivery in a few business days. Questions before or after ordering? Our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
