Frequently Asked Questions

The printer only holds one cartridge — why buy two at once?

Because the second one is your insurance against a dead printer in the middle of a workday. The SP 3500DN gives little warning before toner runs out, and a sealed spare on the shelf means a two-minute swap instead of a two-day wait for a delivery. Together the pair covers up to 12,800 pages.

How much does the two-pack save versus buying singles?

Two single cartridges would cost $92.72; this pack is $74.22, so you save $18.50 and the per-cartridge price drops to $37.11. That lower unit price applies to both cartridges in the box, not just the second one.

Does this pack fit my printer?

Both cartridges are the 406989 model made for the Ricoh Aficio SP 3500DN. If your office runs two of these printers, the pack can also be split — one cartridge installed in each machine.

How should I store the spare cartridge?

Keep it sealed in its packaging, stored flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Stored that way, a spare stays ready for the day the installed cartridge runs dry — rotate stock so the older cartridge is always used first.

What happens if one cartridge in the pack has a problem?

Each cartridge is covered individually by our 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a fault in one does not affect the other. The details of how returns work are on our shipping and returns page.

When will the pack arrive after I order?

We ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, whichever is nearest to you, so transit is typically a few business days. If you need help choosing between pack sizes, our support team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
