Frequently Asked Questions

Is a three-pack about a year's supply for a typical office?

For many offices, yes. The three cartridges total up to 19,200 pages. An office printing roughly 1,600 pages a month would get about a year from the pack; at 800 pages a month, closer to two years. It is a sensible middle ground between buying one at a time and committing to a large bulk case.

What is the per-cartridge price in this pack?

The pack is $102.07, which breaks down to $34.02 per cartridge. Compared with buying three singles at $46.36 each ($139.08 total), you save $37.01 — nearly the price of a whole extra cartridge.

Which printer uses these cartridges?

These are 406989 cartridges built for the Ricoh Aficio SP 3500DN. Check the code on the cartridge you are replacing; if it reads 406989, this pack is the match.

Can the three cartridges be spread across more than one printer?

They can. Nothing ties the cartridges to a single machine, so offices running two or three Aficio SP 3500DN units can divide the pack however the printers' usage demands — heaviest printer gets the spare first.

What coverage do I get if a cartridge underperforms?

Every cartridge in the pack is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, whether it is the first one you install or the last. See our shipping and returns page for how to start a return.

How quickly can I get this pack?

Orders leave from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA or CA — the closest one to your address handles your shipment, keeping delivery to a few business days in most cases. Support is on hand Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if anything comes up.
