Frequently Asked Questions

Honestly — is a five-pack too much toner for one machine?

For a lightly used machine, yes, and we would rather say so: a two-pack would serve you better. The five-pack makes sense where black volume is real — a department printing around 8,000 pages a month works through roughly 100,000 pages in a year, which is exactly what this box holds.

What is the per-cartridge and per-page cost at this size?

The pack is $298.75, or $59.75 per cartridge — the lowest unit price in this cartridge family — saving $73.95 against five singles. Across the combined 100,000-page rating, black output lands at about 0.30 cents per page.

Our offices have both MP C2800 and MP C3300 machines — is this pack tied to one model?

No. Every cartridge in the box is the same 888636 black, made for the platform both machines share — Ricoh Aficio MP C2800 and MP C3300 — so the pack can supply a mixed fleet without anyone checking model names before a swap.

Can we split the pack between departments or cost centers?

Freely. The cartridges are individually boxed and identical, so two can live with one department and three with another, and each team draws down its own shelf stock. There is no pairing or sequence the machines expect.

How do we store five cartridges without them getting in the way?

Keep the boxes sealed, stacked flat in a cool, dry cabinet away from sunlight, and work through them in the order they arrived. Five boxes take roughly the space of a small archive carton — most offices park them next to the paper stock.

Does buying in bulk shrink the warranty or return window?

Not at all. Bulk pricing changes the unit cost, nothing else: every cartridge in the pack carries the same one-year warranty and one-year free returns as a single, as set out on our shipping and returns page. Support is on hand Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST if a unit misbehaves.
